This policy explains how JL Group (“JL Group”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects and uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us through it, and the rights you have over that information. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act (Chapter 586 of the Laws of Malta).

This policy covers this website only. Each of our brands may operate its own website, booking system or services with its own privacy notice, which will apply when you use them.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect the information we need:
- Information you give us when you use our contact form: your first and last name, email address, phone number, the subject of your enquiry, your message, and your confirmation that you accept these terms.
- Technical information that is recorded automatically by our web server when you visit the site, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. These server logs are used for security and to keep the website working properly.
We do not use this website to collect special categories of personal data, and we ask that you do not include such information in your message.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal data to:
- respond to your enquiry and continue any conversation you start with us;
- pass your enquiry to the relevant JL Group brand when it concerns that business;
- keep the website secure, prevent spam and misuse, and fix technical problems;
- comply with our legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling. We will not add you to marketing mailing lists unless you separately ask us to.

- Legitimate interests: keeping our website secure and working, and managing enquiries across the group efficiently.

Your personal data may be shared with:
- the JL Group company or brand best placed to deal with your enquiry;
- service providers who help us run this website and our email, such as our web hosting and email providers, who act only on our instructions;
- professional advisers, regulators or authorities where required by law.
Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. This website does notset any cookies of its own, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Some pages include content from third parties, which may set their own cookies when that content loads. These are listed in the next section. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the website will continue to work, although an embedded map may not display.
7. Third-Party Services
- Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited) is embedded on our Contact page to show our location. When the map loads, Google may collect your IP address and set cookies in line withGoogle’s Privacy Policy.
- Site search runs entirely within your browser using files served from our own website; your search terms are not sent to any third party.
- Links to other websites, including our brands’ own websites and social media pages, are governed by those websites’ own privacy policies.
8. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep enquiries submitted through the website only for as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up, and in any case for no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or the enquiry leads to an agreement with us. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes and then deleted.
9. How We Protect Your Information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted access to enquiries and spam protection on our contact form. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.
10. Your Rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to erase your data;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format, where applicable.
